Ancon at a glance

First steps in the Backoffice

In this guide we will go through how to log in and connect a POS client and basic checkout functions. If you have purchased your equipment from Ancon, the iPad is already prepared through our MDM - Hexnode. Ancon POS should then already be installed. If you have acquired your own equipment, you need to download Ancon POS from the Apple Store or Google play.

Bong destinations

A voucher destination controls where products and orders are sent when an order is placed in the system. It is possible to decide whether the voucher should be printed on a printer, displayed on a KDS or both. In addition, there is also support for making advanced configurations such as restricting sources that can vouchers, notify other destinations and change appearance.

In Backoffice, you can view the remaining balance on gift cards as of a specific date, such as the end of a month or the end of a year. The remaining balance shows the gift card liability for the locations you have selected.
