Register the Control Unit and Cash Register with the tax authorities.
Since April 2023, we can no longer register cash licences for you with the Swedish Tax Agency. This needs to be done by signatories at your company. We have created this guide to make registration easier for you.
Retrieve the necessary information from the Back Office
You can find the information you need for cash register registration in Back Office, under Equipment and POS. Then open your license(s) and click on View Information / Show Device Details. Watch the video below:
Register your devices with the Swedish Tax Agency
After you have saved the information according to the instructions above, you will have what the Swedish Tax Agency requires and can begin the registration process. Go to Tax Agency and start the registration.
Start by registering the control unit
Once you have registered the control unit, you will receive an identification number for it.
Save it!
Register a cash register linked to this control unit.
The address for the cash register, software, and journal memory is the same as the restaurant’s.
