POS settings

A guide that goes through all the options under POS settings.

Appearance & Behavior

Interface

  • Dark mode

    • Toggle dark/light mode in the app.

  • Show puck number popup when bonging

    • A popup that displays the puck number after bonging.

  • Show product selections only when there are required selections

    • Only when “variant must be selected” is enabled for products with variants will these appear as options when adding the product to the bill. To change the variant if “variant must be selected” is not enabled, tap the bill line and then edit.

  • Left-handed mode

    • Switches the buttons to the left side.

  • Show custom bill name popup when checking out

    • A popup that appears when printing the bill, giving you the option to name the bill.

  • Table mode only

    • Sets the cash register to display only table mode.

Action buttons

This field is the same as the one visible in your Ancon POS POS. Here, you can use drag-and-drop to decide which buttons you want in the POS. These can include buttons for previous bills, your designated card terminal, Invoice, Pre-bill, and Checkout.

Override outlet menu

Here you can select a menu that you want on that specific Ancon POS.

Favorite menu

Here you select the cash register’s favorite menu

Default Table Section

The table section that is displayed by default when you open the table map.

Behavior Settings

  • Ask for a receipt

  • Request for digital receipt

  • Use cash payments

  • Force order format before payment

  • Keep batch mode ON

Log out automatically

  • Automatically log out after inactivity

    • Check this box and select the number of seconds of inactivity that must elapse before the register logs out to the PIN screen

  • Automatically log out from the “Bar” screen

    • Log out automatically after a bill is paid

  • Log out automatically from the “Table” screen

    • Log out automatically after a bill is paid

Automatically navigate to “Favorites”

  • Automatically navigate from the “Bar” screen

  • Automatically navigate from the “Tables” screen
