Multi-currency

Multi-currency allows you to manage multiple currencies in the system. This feature allows you to charge in different currencies and choose whether to use automatically updated exchange rates or enter your own rates manually.

Features of the Multi Currency add-on

1. Enabling Multi Currency
You can enable or disable the Multi Currency add-on for your outlet using a simple on/off button.

2. Selecting the base currency
The outlet’s base currency is preset and cannot be changed or removed. All conversions are based on this currency.

3. Managing additional currencies:
You can add and remove other currencies in which you wish to accept payments.

4. Exchange Rate Mode: Automatic or Manual

  • Automatic exchange rates:
    If you select this mode, current exchange rates are automatically retrieved from the Riksbank once a day.

  • Manual exchange rates:
    If you select this mode, you can manually set the exchange rate for each added currency.

5. Exchange Rate Adjustment
Factor You can add an adjustment factor (e.g., +0.5 or +1.0) to the exchange rate to further adjust the price.

6. Currency settings per outlet
All settings are configured per outlet, meaning that different outlets can have different currencies and exchange rates.

7. Display and handling at checkout
When Multi Currency is enabled, the customer can select a currency at checkout, and the system automatically displays the correct price based on the selected exchange rate.
