Ancon at a glance

This guide will help you quickly get started structuring and managing your business in the Ancon Cloud. It will give you a simple introduction to how to organize products, menus and staff, so that sales and internal administration run smoothly from the start.

First steps in the Backoffice

In this guide we will go through how to log in and connect a POS client and basic checkout functions. If you have purchased your equipment from Ancon, the iPad is already prepared through our MDM - Hexnode. Ancon POS should then already be installed. If you have acquired your own equipment, you need to download Ancon POS from the Apple Store or Google play.

Menus are used to visually present your products, both to staff at the POS and in Express and online ordering. You can choose to use the standard menu for all channels, but also create custom menus that can be assigned per checkout or channel, such as Express or online ordering.

Bong destinations

A voucher destination controls where products and orders are sent when an order is placed in the system. It is possible to decide whether the voucher should be printed on a printer, displayed on a KDS or both. In addition, there is also support for making advanced configurations such as restricting sources that can vouchers, notify other destinations and change appearance.

Multi-currency allows you to manage multiple currencies in the system. This feature allows you to charge in different currencies and choose whether to use automatically updated exchange rates or enter your own rates manually.
